PROJECT WALLENBERG

PROJECT WALLENBERG is a large single-family home in a sought-after neighbourhood north of Toronto. After living in their home for several years, our clients found themselves asking the question… should we stay and renovate, or should we move? They decided to stay and renovate!

We reworked their kitchen by turning it into a “U” shape with a large feature island in the center. By re-thinking the layout of the kitchen, we were able to really maximize functionality and gain some much-needed storage and refrigeration space. Our clients previously felt that their home was dark. By using light coloured kitchen cabinets, installing brand new natural white oak floors, and painting the walls white, our clients will never have this complaint again! We used black accents throughout, which has really modernized the home. In the powder room we installed a new vanity – simple, but beautiful, and in the family room we purchased all new furniture, perfect for entertaining! Our favourite part is the ottoman – not only is it incredibly functional, but it is also beautiful and perfectly unique!

On the second floor, we redesigned the primary ensuite to maximize the use of the space. It is now light, bright and airy. We love the curbless shower, floor-to-ceiling frameless shower, and the HUGE double vanity.
