PROJECT CURRAN

PROJECT CURRAN is located on a beautiful property surrounded by nature on Georgian Bay, an incredibly stunning body of water located in Ontario’s cottage country. Most properties in the area are used as cottages, but many years ago this client dreamed of living in cottage country 365 days of the year, so they built their dream home and have lived there ever since!

Although it is a beautiful property and a beautiful home, the design of the kitchen and primary ensuite were dated and no longer working for our client’s needs, so they hired us to help them dream up their spaces! In the kitchen, we relocated their stove, which allowed us to re-imagine how the space would be used. We almost doubled the amount of storage, without adding any extra square footage to the home.

The custom millwork has shaker-style cabinetry, and a mix of white, wood, and a blue island for a POP of colour! The primary ensuite is where the real layout magic happened. What was once an old and dated ensuite with an extremely choppy layout and carpet floors has now become a sanctuary where our clients look forward to starting and ending their day! The custom double vanity with tons of storage, shower with not one but TWO shower heads, freestanding bathtub, and a separate water closet make this ensuite both functional AND beautiful!
