PROJECT MCALLISTER

PROJECT MCALLISTER was purchased by our clients not long before hiring us. Let’s just say that our clients and the previous owners didn’t have the same taste in bathroom design. We were hired to completely rethink the primary ensuite, kid’s bath, and powder room.

It’s primary ensuite was transformed from dark and dated to a bright and neutral retreat. The natural wood elements and pop of colour in the custom millwork make this space unique and calming. We also love the freestanding tub, and the size of this glass shower – isn’t the black frame cool?! There were two growing boys to think about when designing the kid’s bath. We wanted something that they could grow with, not grow into or grow out of, so we kept it mostly neutral but added a pop of FUN and a pop of COLOUR in the shower with the shower wall tile that is carried onto the ceiling.

Look at that shower niche – we love the look of the wall-to-wall niche. Last but not least is the powder room. For us, a powder room is a place to have FUN… it is a place that you won’t spend too much time in, and it is a space that is a fun element of surprise with your guests!

We felt “more is more” in this bathroom, and incorporated a really fun patterned floor tile AND a beautiful large pattern wallpaper. The bathrooms have completely changed the vibe of this house and we can’t wait to continue tackling other rooms with these clients!
