MULTIPLE BATHROOMS & DEN RENOVATION
PROJECT PURDON
PROJECT PURDON is been a house that our clients raised their kids in. Now, empty nesters, they were ready for a change and a completely new look in all 3 of their bathrooms and den. When we first stepped into this home, the bathrooms were a blast from the past… in the best way possible! Each bathroom had a theme, which meant EVERYTHING in that bathroom was the same colour – tile, floors, toilet, sink… you name it, it was the same colour!
The rooms that were once called the pink bathroom, yellow bathroom, and blue bathroom are now called the powder room, hall bath, and primary ensuite respectively. The powder room used to be a small 3-piece bath with a teeny tiny shower and sink. We’ve turned it into a fun powder room with a floating vanity and super FUN and colourful wallpaper. This is the perfect place for guests to be surprised and is probably our favourite bathroom in the house.
The hall bathroom was completely transformed when we created a half-wall beside the toilet instead of a full wall, allowing SO much natural light into the space. The chrome accents were the perfect finish to let the other elements shine, such as the stunning shower tile, or the beautiful walnut double vanity. The custom window coverings tie together perfectly with the blue accent tile behind the vanity.
Would you believe us if we said this primary ensuite used to be a small bathroom AND dressing room in one? Well, believe it! By relocating the closet to another area of the bedroom, we doubled the size of our client’s ensuite, allowing them to have space for a double vanity and a really large shower.
Take a look at that custom stone bench and niche! The last room in this house that got the “Studio AA Interiors” treatment was the den. This room was previously covered in old-school wood wall paneling from top to bottom. We painted it all out, replaced the hardwood floors and windows, and added custom millwork to make this the perfect TV room.
We love that we were able to incorporate our client’s art and collectibles from their trips into the styling of their space. It makes it personal and feel like HOME.
