PROJECT DENVALE

PROJECT DENVALE was once a typical 1940s WW2 Toronto home with small rooms divided by walls. In early 2022 our client bought this home with a vision to change the space COMPLETELY. His vision? A completely open-concept modern bachelor pad. The result? Exactly that! By relocating the stairs to their new location off to the side, the main floor is a whole new home, perfect for entertaining. The large kitchen with marble countertops, backsplash, and custom hood vent is a SHOWSTOPPER.

The large island is the perfect place to prep your meals, wash your dishes, and talk to your friends all at the same time. The matte black cabinets with brass accents are sleek and sophisticated, just like our client wanted. Can’t forget about the wine storage! This all-glass display with a wood backdrop adds a hint of warmth that the space craves. Just off the kitchen is the mudroom and brand new powder room, which was once a sunroom!

The angled checkerboard floors and dark green textured walls provide a nice contrast to the modern, simple, and clean lines of the kitchen while maintaining flow throughout the home and the dark and moody powder room with custom porcelain vanity & sink is one of our favorite rooms of the house!

We love a nice little “element of surprise” in a powder room! Furniture & decor in the dining room & living room are modern and monochromatic with hints of dark moody colours to complete this client’s main floor.
