PROJECT EAST HUMBER

PROJECT EAST HUMBER is a large single-family home in King City that was all original everything when our clients purchased it from an older woman. During COVID-19, our clients decided to make the move from their small home in the city to this larger home in the suburbs for more space for their family of 4.

We replaced the floors painted throughout, and updated the staircase. One of the biggest changes was the kitchen, but we had a challenge – we couldn’t tear down any walls because they were load-bearing, and this house was made of all sorts of interesting angles! Nonetheless, we completely transformed the kitchen with brand-new white custom shaker cabinetry, lots of extra storage, and brand-new appliances.

We also love the herringbone backsplash – it adds a beautiful decorative element! On the second floor, we updated the kid’s bath with all new fixtures and finishes. Last but definitely not least, we completely transformed the primary ensuite without changing the layout! This bathroom used to have carpeted floors, a toilet that was on a pedestal, and a built-in tub. It also had a really small shower and vanity that was way too low down.

We’ve ripped all of that out to make way for new everything, and it is now a neutral and beautiful bathroom for our clients to enjoy for many years!
