PROJECT FERRIER

PROJECT FERRIER was a unique project because our client was taking over their parent’s home… a home that they grew up in! With a new generation means new needs and new styles that we wanted to reflect in our client’s home to make it feel like a brand new home for them and their family.

We started with a fun pop of colour and pattern in the foyer tile, and re-doing the stairs with new treads and risers, and a new sleek glass railing. We also replaced the floors throughout with a really light oak to brighten up the space. By tearing down a wall between the dining room and kitchen, and by opening up the stairs down to the basement, we were able to increase the size of the kitchen substantially… not by actual square footage, but with the amount of storage we added in their custom kitchen!

There are so many things to love in this space, from the waterfall island with seats for entertaining, to the warm white thin shaker cabinets, to the darker wood and blue accents throughout. The full-height pantry and custom coffee station are two additional elements that make this kitchen exactly what our clients were looking for. They had two specific requests in this kitchen – she is a baker, and he loved his coffee, so we’ve fulfilled both requests with a coffee station AND a hidden but convenient spot to store her mixer and other small appliances!

We love this kitchen because it truly feels like it was designed with purpose and our clients in mind. We took advantage of every square inch and were able to successfully accomplish everything our clients were asking for in a very small space.
