PROJECT BELLWOODS

PROJECT BELLWOODS was once a small two-storey home in a very desireable neighbourhood… but our clients decided they needed more space. After adding a huge addition on the third floor that functions as a primary oasis, and underpinning the basement to add valuable square footage, our clients have a home that they will be able to live in comfortably for the rest of their lives!

Like many historic Toronto homes, the original ground floor was divided into several small rooms. We removed all interior walls to create an open-concept layout, emphasizing spaciousness and flow. Significant updates were also made to the second floor, enhancing the overall sense of size and improving functionality.

The new style of this home is clean and contemporary. We’ve included a combination of matte black and brass fixtures throughout, neutral finishes, and custom quartz countertops everywhere. The black and wood kitchen stands out as a unique feature, perfectly capturing the clients’ desired aesthetic. We can’t wait to watch our clients continue to make this house feel like their home!
