PROJECT KINGSWORTH

PROJECT KINGSWORTH is a transformed bungalow located in King City, thoughtfully reimagined for a family of six with frequent visits from extended family. The home was completely reconfigured to create a greater sense of scale and functionality, while introducing moments of warmth and character throughout.

A dramatic double-height foyer creates the first impression upon entry, anchored by a custom floor tile pattern designed specifically for the space and brought to life through an intricate installation layout. Arches are carried throughout the home to soften transitions and create a sense of continuity from one space to the next.

At the heart of the home is the kitchen, featuring an apron-front sink and a striking full-height stone feature wall that grounds the space. Hidden design elements were carefully integrated throughout, including a concealed pantry and a private art room tucked within the daughter’s suite, both requiring extensive millwork coordination to maintain clean and uninterrupted sightlines.

Functionality played an equally important role in the design process. A dedicated dog wash and built-in dog bowl station were incorporated for day-to-day convenience, while a vibrant blue mudroom was designed to support busy family life. In the primary suite, the custom closet is elevated through integrated gold handles seamlessly built into the millwork for a refined and tailored finish.

The result is a warm and highly detailed family home that balances elevated design with thoughtful functionality, where every element was carefully considered from both a design and construction perspective.
